Yesterday I was busy 'bustling' about. Jackson climbed the stairs to go play in his room. I decided that once he was in his room, I would quickly run and switch loads of laundry. I know you what you are thinking, "why would you leave your son at the top of the stairs with no gate or supervision?" Well, your thought is logical, however, once Jackson reaches the top of the stairs he will NOT come back down. He crawls to the edge, sticks his hand over and waives it in the air, and then turns around and heads for one of the three rooms. He is not interested in coming back down. Now, I know that this may (and will) change abruptly one day, but that is not the point to the story, and I will deal with that change some other day.
So, I was switching my laundry, untangling the sheets that had twirled into a tight knot, when I heard screeches of sheer delight coming from upstairs. I immediately wondered what the little man was up too, but decided that the 'happy' emotions meant I had a few more minutes to tidy up the laundry area. After three measly minutes, I came upstairs to look for the little moose and let's just say I didn't find him still playing in his room.......

First of all, I am loving how much you are blogging...I need to check up on you every day! I didn't know your boys were sick last week...boo. Those pictures of Jackson playing in the bathroom are so precious! Ben and I both LOVE them!! He looks so sweet yet mischievious in the first picture:) Love you guys! Excited to see Wordless Wednesday! I wasn't even going to check your blog until tomorrow but I am glad I was nosey tonight!
First, great colors in your bathroom; I have said it before, I love them! Get ready though, the independence is so great--the toilet paper guarding is not.
Thankfully the toilet paper in our house is so high that the girls were never able to reach it at that age...otherwise I can't imagine how many rolls we would have wasted. We have a similar thing with Berlin and wipes right now. She LOVES to empty the container :)
Love the pics of the little guy!!! But who hung the toilet paper holder that a 9 1/2 month old can dismangle in less than three minutes??.. Grandpa Denny
