A Little Update

Boy. The month of May is trying to scoot by our house in a flash this year. Seriously. I cannot believe the month is almost half over! I have a 'to-do' list as long as the Mississippi and I feel a little like I will never check anything off (well, except this blog post....check!).
This past week Mark was out of town so the boys and I packed up and went to stay at my parents house. We kept pretty busy visiting with all the grandparents and Uncle Chad. My dad took Jack out in the boat and he had a BLAST! The highlight (for both of them) was when J got to have full reign of the water craft and it wasn't long until he figured out how to get it moving 'so fast'!
These two get into a lot of mischief together.

Jackson finding rocks to throw into the water...one of his favorite activities at Papa and Dama's house.

This orange hat is a new staple in Jack's wardrobe. We really can't go anywhere without it....even to bed sometimes. He calls is his 'ornch doshes hat' (orange Gosch's hat).

Jack giving Ben a ride on the four wheeler. Ben gets so excited to do/play just like Jackson.

Mark used to do this with Jack at this age. Ben looks like a little buhda boy sitting up there! Ha. This picture makes me laugh.

I am pretty sure Ben is mad that he is not getting to drive :)

It is so wonderful that the sun is finally showing up here in MN. I really can't believe what a mood lifter it is. A couple of weeks ago we got our outside flowers planted (my mother's day gift) and it makes everything look so alive!
Speaking of mother's day....here I am with my boys reading the Sunday paper while Mark cooked breakfast. What a relaxing morning. (These photos were taken on our phones so the quality isn't the best).

And here is the latest house project I have decided to undertake. Staining and painting our stairs. I am excited how it is turning out. Piece by piece I am freeing this house of the ugly stained oak.

Well there you have it. Our little life in a nutshell for the last couple of weeks.
