I am going to try to catch you up to what has been keeping us so busy this summer and me away from this blog. So please bare with the lateness of some of these posts (and the out of order-ness)!
Our 4th of July was a lot of fun, and really quite relaxing. We hadn't had a relaxing weekend for a while so it was welcomed with open arms. We went up North (of course) and were right where we wanted to be...on the water with family. We stayed and played with Mark's parents and sister/husband/kid and then hopped on over to my parents' place for some lake/food/water time. We all had a blast. Here are a few pictures to re-cap some of the fun.
Meet Truman and Uncle Andrew. He is Jack and Ben's cousin.
Ben was so ready to get in on all the action in the water.
T-man is a complete ham. He gives these hilarious looks all the time...not just when the camera is out. I love him.
Trying to get Jackson away from this waterfall (that Mark built for his parents) was nearly impossible. He and Papa Neal kept finding cool things to do...mostly just playing in the water.
This shot just cracks me up (no pun intended). Pure Mischief with these two. Nothing more, nothing less.
Handsome boys.
This baby is so sweet and happy. I just love that he is in our family.
This little boy LOVES the water. He was pretty much in water heaven the whole weekend.
Getting to go down to the water in his p.j's for an impromptu boat ride/watch daddy ski. He was so excited.
Mark is amazing at getting up on one ski. Jackson would yell "Doe Daddy! Doe Doe Daddy!"
Jackson would also get really nervous when Mark would let go of the rope and fall into the water. He'd rather have his eyes on him at all times. He would look up at me with concern and yell "OH NO! Is Daddy Doe, mommy. Is Daddy?" Very sweet.
We ended the mini vacation with a Twins game. Jack, myself and my parents all went. I forgot my camera at home so I didn't get any pictures. Shame. But Jackson had a lot of fun. He had the very important job of watching for TC. He thought he was just the coolest :)
