I am new at this...

Okay. So I am definitely not great at 'blogging' yet, however, I am starting to feel like I actually have a schedule now. Meaning...I think I have somewhat of an idea of how my days will be going! This is quite nice. I never knew I would enjoy such a schedule, but knowing each day what time Jackson wakes and eats really, at the end of the day, helps me feel like an accomplished Mom. I am now able to get my laundry done, clean the house, and most evenings, have supper ready for Mark by the time he gets home from work! Ahhhh...The feeling is so refreshing.

I have realized the past few months, that there are many new happenings occuring in my life that I have never experienced before. Obviously, right?! But for some reason when I was pregnant, it never occured to me that everything would feel so foreign and yet so natural all at the same time. It also never occured to me that life would continue to bring new experiences. I assumed that after a few weeks with the baby, everything would start to feel normal again. And although life seems to be trucking along nicely, normal is definitely not what it used to be. There is a new definition for 'normal' in our house, and to be quite honest, I really like it!

Yesterday I finally found some time to start fiddling with our camera and posing my favorite little subject to shoot! I recently downloaded some software to edit the pictures and here are two that I have redone. I definitely need some pointers on how to use the software and tips on what looks good on photos...but for now I am really just having fun playing (with both the software and Jackson) :)
