Hi
Hello
He is super busy. He is able to run, climb the stairs really well (which is great considering there are 4 sets of stairs in our house), eat things without having them cut into bite-size pieces, and blow on his food when it is hot.
He gets the most enjoyment I have ever seen being at the wheel of a vehicle. Whether it is a boat, gator, or car, Jackson will ‘drive’ you wherever you want to go!
Green beans seem to be his favorite veggie, and he is also starting to not like peas. However, he will eat anything he finds on the kitchen floor. It is almost like a special treasure he just can’t pass up. So, if there happen to be a few peas on the floor, leftover from being ‘accidently’ dropped off his tray at dinner, he will scarf them up immediately upon finding them. Gross.
He has cut his top two molars and is working on the bottom two (they are super close….I would say in the next day or so they should be here).
His hair is finally getting long enough to style…which Mark doesn’t admire as much as I do.
He is in 2T shirts, 18-24 mo bottoms, and 3T pajamas. Still a moose.
Okay, and now for some life updates.
We are seriously just about done with our basement remodel. We have a few little things that need some paint and a few other little odd’s and ends, but the average person looking at it would never know the difference. I am really excited about it and have been having a blast decorating. It is starting to look quite cozy, and it is so nice to have the extra space! We really just love it!
This pregnancy is going really well. I have been enjoying how well I am feeling and am just starting to get that ‘a little uncomfortable, something is stretching, awkward” feeling. I am starting to get a little annoyed with the random people telling me that I shouldn’t be holding Jackson anymore. Ummm…hello people. How in the world am I supposed to be a mom and not hold my baby? He is only 15 months. There is no way (unless it were to put a health risk onto babe #2) that I could fathom not holding my little boy for the next 3.5 months. Crazy.
Okay, now that we all know I will be picking up my child until it is physically impossible, I will move on.
This babe is still measuring about a week behind schedule via ultrasound, but via “good-ol’-tape measure” it is right on schedule. The baby is so active, and has been at such an early stage, I am still holding out that I will go a little earlier than Dec. 28th. More like Dec.15th. Yes, that is a very nice day to have a baby J
I am certain each week the gender of this baby changes. When I first found out that I was pregnant I thought for sure it was a girl. Just a weird feeling. Then, later, I decided that it was probably a boy. But now again, these last few weeks have me thinking girl. OOHHH the agony of having to wait. Only 15 more weeks, only 15.
Cute little Jackson story:
He loves to randomly lift shirts and check out peoples belly buttons. He enjoys seeing the button, and can never resist poking his little finger into the hole. Whenever he lifts my shirt, he is confused about the placement of my button, not too mention that the trademark ‘hole’ is missing. Mark and I try to explain that there is a baby in my belly and he normally just looks at us like we are crazy. But, last week he has started to lift my shirt and pat my belly saying ‘hi, hi, hi’ to the baby. Then, just as he does with his baby cousin Truman, he kisses my belly and then strokes his little hand along it saying ‘soooooft, soooooft.’ (because he is learning to be soft and gentle with babies.) What a sweet boy.

What an amazing little man!! I just love the bow tie and belt look. So dang cute! I am so excited to see you next week...and by the look of the family pic you posted I am definitely bigger than you! But still at this point will be having the little guy in January...So Mitch and I were thinking that the one who can cook the babe the longest should be the winner of our little contest. Done.
oh I just LOVE the Jackson story! he is going to be such a great big brother. glad you are feeling well too!
