I was recently reminded that it has almost (9 days shy) been a month since my last post. I was also told that words "weren't necessary....just post pictures!" ha :)
So, here are a few words, and a few pictures just to appease all who have been wondering what we have been up too.
We had our ultrasound last Friday, and remaining true to our word, we didn’t find out the gender of our little babe. It really was super hard for me to not get that information….but don’t you worry, I did my best to bamboozle the technician. However, she was on to my tricks and each time I asked “soooo, is that the umbilical chord?” she would reply, ‘yep.’
I know nothing.
What I do know, however, is that this babe is one wiggly little thing. It would hardly sit still long enough to get pictures and measurements. And the fun part, is that I am feeling most to all these little movements. In fact, last night I awoke to it getting in a quick little 3:30 a.m. work-out. Crazy little babe.
We also found out, that unlike it’s brother, he/she is measuring a little behind schedule rather than two weeks ahead. I must be honest, I was definitely hoping for my due date to be moved up two weeks again. That was so nice, instead, they have kept me at Dec. 28th.
I will try to get pictures of my belly and the babe up within the next couple of days.
Jack has been very busy doing his best to make sure his bath’s are well worth the time each night. He has been SOOOOOO dirty lately. This boy loves rock’s, dirt, water, and especially loves when these things are all mixed together ;)
He is all boy. He also enjoys sticking his little fingers up his nostril and laughing as soon as I tell him to take it out. I say ‘oh, that is icky, better get your finger out of there’ and he just giggles while holding his position. Gross.
One very sweet thing is the newfound enjoyment Jackson seems to be getting out of books. He has his favorites (Johnny Tractor ie. John Deer books) and anything with animals in it….oh and he also (obviously) loves books with trucks and airplanes.
Well, that’s enough words for now. We are busy in our basement and I am really hoping to be finished by the end of August. Pictures to follow for that little progression as well J
