Thank you all so very much for all your prayers. Benny went through surgery without any hiccups and is home recovering like a mad man! Seriously, the day we went home we were told not to let him walk (because of the anesthesia his balance was really off) but if you have a great idea of how to keep a crazy, wild 1-year old off his feet, then please do tell, because surgery doesn't seem to phase the fella. The stitch that went over his lip is already broke through and we are just praying that the incision doesn't open on that spot! Other than the occasional whimper when the tylenol starts to wear off, you would never know that sweet Benny boy underwent a surgical procedure just days ago. Praise God!

| Benny right before surgery |
Benaiah was a complete rock star and each nurse that encountered him wanted to steal him. And who wouldn't when they are wearing a cute little green hospital gown that barely covers his little white biscuits?!
Here is Benny right after he woke up. Poor little lamb was so hungry/thirsty (no food or water since 3:30 that morning). I am praising God for all the wonderful care Benaiah received. His doctors and nurses were amazing.
Right now he has a really fat lip that is very bruised. Because of the line of black stitches and steristrip that covers it, I am finding it hard to picture what the skin will look like....it still looks as if the nevus is there! He is doing really well and we are just praying everything heals perfectly so we can get the next surgery done and over with. Jackson is being an awesome big brother with a lot of concern about 'his bruder Benny boy's bisit to da hostible' (translated: Brother Benny's visit to the hospital).
Thank you again for all of your prayers, care and concerns. There are not words to describe the appreciation.
